Ariadne - a song for the lost
Research Residency Tanzhaus 24-26.4Ariadne - a song for the lost is a first research for a future project in 2028.
It aims to become a lonely duet: a solo performed by a dancer and a singer.
It searches for what it means to lose the self within oneself and what it means to pull at a thread that maybe is not there anymore.
Based on the greek mythology of Ariadne giving Theseus a thread to go into the labyrinth and kill the Minotaur,
we ask ourselves how we can give ourselves a thread to find the way out of the own inner labyrinth.
Having won the Migros Engagment Double Mentorship with Lukas Marian, we did a first residency in Tanzhaus Zürich to reserach along body, voice and material.
Central in this process is the aim to work with body, voice and material in interaction and therefore letting them influence eachother in the process.
